Seven silver and three bronze medals were won, and Education Ministry also appreciated their outstanding performance in an announcement given in the mid of the August.

Global Olympiads are the big opportunities for students to show their insight into science and logical ideas.

In the Sciences and Informatics Olympiads, they are even tested on their capacity to complete examinations and programming.

The Singapore team has won first place among 394 participants from 86 countries. They marked their best performance at the 28th International Young Physicists’ Tournament.

The students were drawn from NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, Raffles Institution, and Hwa Chong Institution.

They were driven by specialists from organizations, for example, the National University of Singapore’s natural sciences department, National Institute of Education at the Nanyang Technological University, junior colleges, and the Education Ministry.

In 2016, there were thirteen gold, nine silver medals, and one bronze medal to be won by students of Singapore.
